Dr. Kanupriya Mishra Bakhru has been a pivotal member of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida since July 2011. Currently an Associate Professor (since March 2021), she has designed and delivered a diverse range of courses, including Human Resource Analytics, Effective Tools for Career Management and Development, Life Skills, Human Resource Management, Economics, and Quality Issues in Engineering. Her commitment to research is evident through her guidance of six PhD scholars—two awarded, one under submission, and three ongoing. She also plays key academic and administrative roles as the Department PhD Coordinator, NSS Program Officer, NAAC Criteria 1 Coordinator, Central IQAC member, and a member of the Doctoral Program Monitoring and Advisory Committee for eight research scholars.

Before joining JIIT, Dr. Mishra Bakhru served as an Assistant Professor at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida from March 2010 to June 2011, where she taught core courses such as Organizational Behavior, Industrial Psychology, Research Methodology, Marketing Research, and Production & Total Quality Management. During her time there, she also supervised MBA research projects and participated in key administrative functions including admissions, counseling, and induction programs. Her early professional journey includes industry experience as an HR Executive at Skymet (September 2006–June 2007) and a Management Trainee at Birlasoft Ltd (November 2005–August 2006), where she was responsible for end-to-end recruitment, orientation, performance review, and visa processing.

Dr. Mishra Bakhru also holds several editorial positions with prominent Scopus-indexed international journals. She is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Heliyon Business and Management (Elsevier, Quartile 1), and a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Family Business Management (Emerald, Quartile 1). She is also part of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy (Emerald, Quartile 2). Her experience as a Handling Editor includes overseeing special issues in prestigious journals such as the World Review of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development, International Journal of Learning and Change, International Journal of Business and Globalisation, and Journal of Enterprising Communities—focusing on themes like sustainable development, higher education reform, and entrepreneurial ecosystems in South Asia.

Her extensive experience in both industry and academia, coupled with her contributions to scholarly publishing, positions her as a thought leader committed to excellence and innovation in higher education.
